Last week Hillary Clinton lamented that the rich are “not paying their fair share of taxes.” As anyone with half a brain knows, rich people pay the vast majority of taxes. Boy, it seems like old times, with the Clintons in DC, telling outlandish lies, hiking taxes, killing the economy, and trying to use the military for social experimentation. Anyhow, here is Reason TV’s Nick Gillespie dissecting the latest whopper from Hillary:
I suppose I have to at least admire Bill Clinton for his entrepreneurial spirit in recognizing that his manwhoring could be someone lucrative.

There are many ways to pay off campaign debts — cajoling phone calls, begging letters — but Bill Clinton believes that he has come up with a better method to wipe out the financial obligations outstanding from his wife’s failed presidential bid.
He is raffling himself. In an e-mail sent to millions of people who supported Hillary Clinton’s White House campaign, the former President asks: “How would you like the chance to come up to New York and spend the day with me?” For those who would like the One-Day-With-Bill prize, an online donation of as little as $5 (£3) will buy them the chance.
All I can say is that I’m glad he’s at least recognized his worth…

If you’re a Brit, your head is spinning. It’s not just the personal slights to Prime Minister Gordon Brown — the ridiculous 25-DVD gift, the five refusals before Brown was granted a one-on-one with The One.
Nor is it just the symbolism of Obama returning the Churchill bust that was in the Oval Office. Query: If it absolutely had to be out of Obama’s sight, could it not have been housed somewhere else on U.S. soil rather than ostentatiously repatriated?
Perhaps it was the State Department official who last year denied there even was a special relationship between the U.S. and Britain, a relationship cultivated by every U.S. president since Franklin Roosevelt.
