Dan Kellar: The tale of Waterloo’s Marxist thug

By now, everyone’s aware of the successful attempt a few weeks back of a group of three “students” at the University of Waterloo who set out to silence author and columnist Christie Blatchford for her “hateful” book, Helpless, documenting the trials and tribulations of land owners and freedom activists in Caledonia over the past years.

In a nutshell, three protesters chained themselves to the podium that Christie was to speak from. The police were called and said that Christie couldn’t go on stage if the protesters were still there, but the school wouldn’t allow the police to remove them. As such, the event was canceled, and the communist thugs won.

Now, we know that the “lead” protester is a PhD student (in environmental studies) at the University of Waterloo…Dan Kellar. Except, not really. Between lying about his student status for sympathy (granted, I think knowing someone’s a grad student actually makes me like them less,) Dan blogs and podcasts.

In a recent podcast, Dan stated that “We are proud to have stopped this racist apologist from further disseminating her lies, and we firmly pledge to be present at the rescheduling of [Christie Blatchford's speaking] event in order to continue our campaign against Christie.” He further pushes forth the idea that she won’t be permitted to speak at other points in the podcast.

Leaked Facebook messages between a reader and Kellar show that he is nothing more than an anarchist who actually opposes the police arresting members of the Black Bloc during the Toronto G20 summit.

Given the length of the exchange, I’ll only be posting select messages. None of this distorts the actual context of what was said: I’m more than happy to send out the full exchange of people are interested.

If what Christie has written could be categorized as Hate Speech, then by all means call the cops and have her charged with violating sections 318-320 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

If it does not meet this definition, then by all means write a paper that rebuts her argument, send letters to various newspapers, have a sit in and bang drums on the front lawn if you must.

Dan Kellar November 20 at 12:46pm Report

i do not support the use of cops, cops are a violent gang of murderers and rapists (when in uniform at least), and they have no place in a civilized society. a prof recently printed a rebuke of christie’s work, in an academic journal, and is now being sued. we take our responsibility to stop racists very importantly and will not wait for the dominant powers to act.

Dan Kellar November 21 at 10:45pm Report

this is what you will not get from your mainstream “journalists” and our racist education system, it keeps people ignorant. it is because of people like christie that people will ignore what the indigenous live through until this day. she has a pulpit to preach from and not a critical voice is allowed to be published in response. she denies history and wraps up racism in national security and breaches of our invalid “law”

you ask for alternatives to capitalism, but you dont recognize it as a working system either. while i cant point you to a working global system of economic governance there are two points to make here:

people from colonial backgrounds have been deciding what is the “best” system for everyone for too long. let us sit back and listen to what the indigenous people tell us will work. if you accept capitalism as a failure then why keep it around? best of the worst is not acceptable. maybe minds that have not been colonized (instructed in dominance), should be the ones that get to make the decisions for a while… we certainly failed at it.

So, there you have it folks. The problem isn’t Christie Blatchford — it’s all a part of the big racist, colonialist conspiracy. Everyone should support Christie, and tell Dan Kellar how you feel.

Confessions of a Communist

You’d expect that the man dubbed ‘the father of Cuba’s communist revolution’ would be advocating for the communist system. Instead, Fidel Castro is admitting that communism doesn’t work.

Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic, recounts his recent interview with Fidel Castro:

But during the generally lighthearted conversation (we had just spent three hours talking about Iran and the Middle East), I asked him if he believed the Cuban model was still something worth exporting.

“The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us anymore,” he [Fidel Castro] said.

Now that one of the most stubborn supporters of ‘state controlled economies’ is rejecting the theory, it is even more outrageous that America is moving in that direction.

Perhaps Democrats should look over to the economically ravaged island of Cuba – it’s a preview of what America could become if they succeed.

The Definitive Obama is a Marxist Post

Barack Obama is a doctrinaire Marxist. Some people seem to have a problem with that fact. So, by popular demand, here is the definitive ‘Obama is a Marxist’ checklist:

Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto offers 10 planks to establish a communist state. They are:

1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.

Obama has taken over two major car companies, is running major financial institutions, is in control of a large segment of the housing industry through Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He ignores private property laws.

2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.

Obama wants to allow the Bush tax cuts to expire. He wants to raise capital gains taxes for the purpose of “fairness,” even though he has admitted such a move will decrease government revenues. He has said he wants to use the tax code to “spread the wealth around.”

3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.

Obama will allow the death tax to come back from the dead in 2011, allowing the government to seize over 50% of citizen’s estates.

4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.

Nothing yet…

5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.

The Federal Reserve already exists, but through the stimulus and bailout funds, Obama is in more control of the nation’s capital than an other president in American history.

6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.

Obama owns the car companies. The Federal Communications Commission is threatening to bring back the Orwellian “Fairness Doctrine” through a variety of means, most notably under the guise of “local ownership.” In addition, a new cyber security bill has given Obama an ‘internet kill switch.’

7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.

This already essentially exists through a variety of government programs. However, the environmental aspect of this provision is pure Obama. His administration plans on using the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate carbon dioxide.

8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.

President Obama hikes the minimum wage. In addition, he supports another Orwellian bill, the Employee Free Choice Act, which would force nearly all American workers o form unions. As well, the stimulus bill was used to fund federal public works programs.

9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.

This plank has not been utilized to the best of my knowledge.

10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

Public schools already exist. In addition, tucked in the Obamacare bill was a provision that made the federal government responsible for student loans, sending more American to university on the taxpayer’s dime.

As president, Barack Obama has fulfilled at least 8 of the 10 planks that Karl Marx identified as necessary to establish a communist state. While the United States is not the Soviet Union, and Barack Obama is not Stalin, Obama is a Marxist. Communism/Marxism/socialism appear in different forms in different countries, reflecting the distinct cultures of different nations. As such, it is unlikely that a Stalin like figure will ever take control in the United States. However, that does not mean that a president with a similar ideology cannot win an election, as Barack Obama has, most recently, proven.

Anatomy of a "peaceful" protest.

All around the world, people are tuned into the events of the G8 summit in Huntsville, Ontario this past weekend as well as the G20 summit in Toronto taking place right now. Over the past few weeks, much controversy has arisen from people skeptical of the amount of money being spent on making sure this event goes on. The exact price tag is unknown at this point. However, the highest figure has been the $1 billion dollars invested in security.

Of all the costs Canada has had to ante to host this, the security tab is the least concerning. I think that the whole thing will be a waste of time, but the fact of the matter is that Canada is given the opportunity to be a leader in world issues, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper has the opportunity to show to Canadians what he stands for, and put forth some conservative initiatives in Canada and around the world. What he does with that opportunity is out of my ballpark.

I’ve been watching one of Canada’s two 24-hour news networks for the last couple of days to get a grasp on what’s actually going on in Toronto. Unfortunately, both of them are crap (not for long though!) As it stands, the best place to get up-to-date information on what’s going on seems to be the Toronto Sun’s G20 LiveBlog.

To date, there have been 6 police cars set on fire, over 500 arrests, 3 failed bombings, crates of weapons seized, Molotov Cocktails defused, rubber bullets used, tear gas emitted, and hundreds of 20-somethings with hemp purses, Che Guevera shirts and a cloud of marijuana smoke following them. Do I have an issue with spending money on security if it prevents world leaders and innocent tourists from being killed on Canadian soil? Not at all.

Amnesty International has already come out in opposition to Toronto police, apparently upset that violent anarchists may be being mistreated. Oh no!

Interestingly, there had been 412 arrests made before the summit even started this morning. One of the detainees was complaining on camera to the fact that there weren’t enough bathroom facilities at the makeshift detention center to ensure the comfort of the prisoners (apparently the Hilton was over-booked.)

If you plan on smashing in police car windows with a baseball bat, and knocking down elderly visitors, women with children, and law enforcement while attempting to hide in a mob for anonymity, I don’t care what happens to you. Strictly Right fully supports the actions of police and tactical units to ensure the safety of the summit.

G20 in Toronto: Communists already out

With the G20 coming to Toronto, we’ve had our first major protest. The protesters occupied an Esso Station and blocked traffic – which is all fairly mild compared to what we are expecting.

But the scariest thing is what they were chanting. According to Yahoo! News:

They shouted “Stop the war, arm the poor, make the rich pay.”

Hmm… End war violence and arm the poor so that they can kill the rich. I suppose that if you dredge down into the bottom of the barrel of society – and then dig even further – you will see where these protesters came from.

They can hate whomever they want. But they are chanting on the streets and saying that they would like to kill an entire class of people. They are advocating genocide. The rich certainly count as an identifiable group. Those protesters are scum.

Of course, the mainstream media will tell you that the protest was peaceful. I suppose that, in most “peaceful” protests, large groups of people scream that they intend on committing genocide if they ever get in power.

That’s communism for you. I thought that I would amend this statement to be accurate:

From each [dead rich person] according to his ability, to each according to his needs [or according to whether or not he was the first to plunder]

The first protester arrested during the Toronto G20 conference was Mark Corbiere. I hope that they throw away the key.

If only all Canadian politicians were like this

It seems that Calgary Member of Parliament Rob Anders is the politician your politician could smell like. When a card for the troops in Afghanistan was placed in the lobby of the Canadian House of Commons for Members of Parliament to sign, instead of the standard well-wishes and platitudes, the great Rob Anders offered some great advice, “When in doubt, pull the trigger.” Of course, the opposition MP’s took this opportunity to tell the House how much they disliked Rob (they enjoy having these opportunities.) Anyone without any military background (like Dick Blumenthal, for example) wouldn’t know that “when in doubt, pull the trigger” is just a common military expression that means stay safe. The Leftists must have missed the memo.

Need further evidence for how awesome Rob Anders is?

Attend a Barack Obama Training Camp!

I shouldn’t be surprised, but I kind of am. When I saw that the Democratic Party was running summer training camps, I was worried that this was going to be another Barney-Frank-meets-Catholic-clergy nightmare; you know, so kids could claim ObamaCare benefits for therapy sessions in a few years. More amusingly, however, it seems that Organizing for America, Obama’s PAC is running indoctrination sessions across America this summer (coming to a rented-out warehouse near you!) Remember those speeches that Hitler and Stalin used to go around Father- and Mother-land doing to tell people all the benefits of their respective governments? Now, I’m not saying that there’s a connection or anything…

From Obama’s website:

As we continue fighting for the President’s agenda and gear up for the elections in the fall, we need to make sure we’re all ready to organize as effectively as possible.

We’re holding Camp OFA training sessions across the country, to make sure that OFA supporters like you have the skills you’ll need to make it happen. You’ll hear from local community organizers, volunteers, and staff on the best ways to organize local events and build neighborhood teams, how to make the case for the President’s agenda for change, and what OFA is planning to do in the months ahead.

Don’t be afraid when you start seeing a bunch of zombies walking around this summer with blank stares on their faces repeating a carefully chosen one-liner. Basically, they’ll be like Ron Paul supporters except they’ll be saying something other than “End the Fed” (has the effect of “Hope and Change” worn off yet?)

Fortunately I was able to come across the schedule for one of these sessions:

8:00 am-9:00 am: Arrival, registration. Organizers will empty everyone’s wallets and redistribute spending money equally
9:00 am-10:00 am: How to bend over to Muslims without falling
10:00 am-11:00 am: Freedom 101 – why it’s outdated and not-relevant
11:00 am-12:00 pm: The Constitution – why everyone should write their own and follow that one
12:00 pm-1:00 pm: Sodium-free, vegan luncheon (individuals will not be permitted to purchase a better meal from a private vendor)
1:00 pm-2:00 pm: What You Didn’t Know about the UK – How to select gifts for PM’s and break royal protocol
2:00 pm-3:00 pm: How to manage Biden
3:00 pm-4:00 pm: Income Tax Tips 101 with special guest from ACORN
4:00 pm-5:00 pm: Racism in America – how to spin any statement by a conservative to indicate racism

Obama finally being impeached

Today marks a historic day in America. Not long after President Barack Obama signed into effect the biggest government takeover of the economy in the history of the United States, it seems that the unconstitutional act of Congress is being repealed today. In a joint press release from the offices of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, two historic supporters of Obama’s plans for healthcare reform, said:

The plan for health care reform was initially something that the Democratic Party had long been campaigning for as a way to ensure that the American people were well-protected. As time went on, it became apparent that this reform was not in the will of the American people at all. However, in pure stubbornness, this administration persisted in pushing the legislation forward.

At a press conference, Nancy Pelosi had a different take on the matter, however:

I don’t really believe that any one person was responsible for this. I said from the start that Americans would only be able to find out what’s in the bill if it passed. And while I was initially skeptical, Barry [Soetoro] made it quite clear that Botox procedures would be covered. It was a no-brainer at that point.

While these statements from Reid and Pelosi are in and of themselves incredible, nothing comes close to the iconic moment in history created when all Members of Congress and their staff (with the exception of Barney Frank and a young page) showed up at a rally with a petition to impeach Obama for a new subsection of the constitution called “Impeachment by Stupidity,” citing that the Stalinist approach to American governance was a trial project, and has failed miserably.

Barack Obama was unavailable for comment, though in an email from White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Strictly Right received the following comment:

Andrew, this is nothing more than 8 years of the Bush administration’s bad policies catching up on the American people. President Obama is not worried, though he’s hoping for change.

P.S. Meet me in the Congressional shower in 20 minutes?
