Client Number Nine Returns!

CNN has a great new show lined up to take on the O’Reilly Factor. The program will feature insightful discussions between the left and far left. Representing the left will be Kathleen Parker, who has made a career out of being a Republican that criticizes Republicans and conservatives. Her debate partner…Elliot Spitzer. That’s right, the man who was forced to step down as Governor of New York for a prostitution scandal is now going to host a television show on one of America’s least watched and most boring networks.

Besides the fact that Spitzer is a degenerate pervert, this show appears to have all the excitement of an Al Gore speech. When asked about the show, Spitzer said “people will be surprised how often we agree.” Uh, no we wont. preceding the revalation that Elliot Spitzer was a relative of Bill Clinton, Spitzer was known as a hard line leftist shakedown artist. He will be a textbook Democrat for CNN, much like everyone else on that network. Meanwhile, before the 2008 presidential election Kathleen Parker was an unknown. She made her mark by relentlessly criticizing Sarah Palin. Parker’s ‘credibility’ in the irrelevant liberal media took off when she, the ‘voice of the average Republican,’ endorsed Barack Obama for president. Very few conservatives were surprised – Parker ‘s true colors were well know as those of a media charlatan, willing to toe the liberal line. While that may have made Parker popular with the liberal media, she is persona non grata in conservative circles.  Either CNN is tone deaf or they just don’t care, but Kathleen Parker will not attract conservative viewers, and client number 9 should just bring in typical CNN viewers. This show doesn’t seem to make much sense from a marketing/ratings perspective, but CNN is the network that employees Anderson Cooper. The bottom line is that two hosts, Spitzer and Parker, are painfully boring and one of them is a repugnant human being.

By the way – speaking of Al Gore, with client number 9 getting his own TV gig, perhaps Mr. “Crazed Sex Poodle” is eying a job on cable TV himself.

I had the opportunity to meet Jon Voight at the premiere for An American Carol at the 2008 Republican National Convention and chat with him for a bit. He’s a really cool guy, unashamed of his conservatism. So, you can imagine how happy I was when I saw this:

President Obama:

You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone’s enemy — and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm’s way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.

You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientists and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals who want Israel eradicated.

You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.

Cloward-Piven Strategy

Barry and the gang sure have their priorities in order. The gulf oil spill? Not doing much about that besides orchestrating a shakedown and finding other people to blame. The economy? Since the porkulus bill passed and Obama engaged his “laser-like focus” on jobs, unemployment has shot up to 10%, where it has remained. Spending? Every day it seems like some new harebrained spending scheme is hatched in the White House. Thankfully, the Obama administration has identified one serious problem: illegal aliens are not getting paid their fair share:

To clarify, you did just see Obama’s Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis, tell illegal aliens that there is a taxpayer funded hot-line they can call to ensure that they are being paid in accordance with the law. Seeing how illegal aliens, by definition, are in violation of the law, why is the government assisting them at all? Shouldn’t ICE show up if illegals call a government phone number and identify themselves as being in the country illegally? If Charles Manson had called the IRS hot-line would they have just assisted him?

The Obama administration could not be more out if touch with the American people if they tried. The economy is in shambles. The Democrats have greatly increased government spending, and continue to raise the minimum wage. At the same time, Democrats are encouraging more people to accept government ‘assistance.’ You’d almost think that this was a deliberate plan by the Obama administration to overload the system, cause an even greater disaster, then use the resulting calamity to “fundamentally transform” the United States. Now where have I heard that before?

G20 in Toronto: Communists already out

With the G20 coming to Toronto, we’ve had our first major protest. The protesters occupied an Esso Station and blocked traffic – which is all fairly mild compared to what we are expecting.

But the scariest thing is what they were chanting. According to Yahoo! News:

They shouted “Stop the war, arm the poor, make the rich pay.”

Hmm… End war violence and arm the poor so that they can kill the rich. I suppose that if you dredge down into the bottom of the barrel of society – and then dig even further – you will see where these protesters came from.

They can hate whomever they want. But they are chanting on the streets and saying that they would like to kill an entire class of people. They are advocating genocide. The rich certainly count as an identifiable group. Those protesters are scum.

Of course, the mainstream media will tell you that the protest was peaceful. I suppose that, in most “peaceful” protests, large groups of people scream that they intend on committing genocide if they ever get in power.

That’s communism for you. I thought that I would amend this statement to be accurate:

From each [dead rich person] according to his ability, to each according to his needs [or according to whether or not he was the first to plunder]

The first protester arrested during the Toronto G20 conference was Mark Corbiere. I hope that they throw away the key.

Uhh, We Can't Afford This Stuff…

ABC News reports:

President Obama has had two major messages for Congress in recent months: Keep the focus on jobs and the economy, and get serious about runaway spending.

His problem now is that they’re starting to listen to him on the second point — at the expense of the first.

In a major shift in congressional politics, Democrats have developed a severe case of sticker shock, just as many of their colleagues press to prime the pump of the economy in time for the mid-term congressional elections.

Now, even popular initiatives with widespread support — notably an extension in unemployment benefits for those who have been out of work for more than a year, plus $50 billion the White House is asking for to help avert state layoffs of teachers and law enforcement officials  are stalled inside Congress.

Democrats are between Barack and a hard place. On the one hand, the only reason they are ever elected is to loot the treasury and put as many people on the government dole as possible. On the other hand, with a national debt of over $13 trillion, there is no more money to give away.

After Obama put his “laser-like focus” on job creation, unemployment soared to 10%, where it has remained since the passage of the porkulus bill. Since then, Obama has also passed the largest entitlement bill in American history – health care. Democrats are in the fast lane, driving the United States off a debt cliff. For Democrats to start opposing spending bills now is laughable. While the new proposed $50 billion giveaway being bandied about in Washington ought to be stopped, there is no way Democrats can claim the mantle of fiscal responsibility in 2010.

In 2006 the Democrats ran against the big spending of George W. Bush and the Republicans. The result of their takeover has been a soaring debt, an unsustainable deficit, and a crippled economy. The Democrats have made it clear that given the power, they will spend the country into ruin. The latest hemming and hawing over spending is cynical political posturing, pure and simple.

A while back, renowned psychology professor Philippe Rushton of the University of Western Ontario was criticized within the academic community for publishing a work culminating a lot of the research he’d been doing for years. Essentially, he proved that white people are smarter than black people; and Asians are smarter than white people. His research accurately took into consideration things like test scores, aptitude tests, and other assessments, it also looked at measurable qualities like brain size, gestation period, maturity rate, etc.

That didn’t matter though! The university attempted to get rid of him, the premier of the province of Ontario attempted to have him discredited. All this happening until other scientists finally had the balls to step up and say, “but he’s right.”

Now, it looks like a daring individual in government of Canada decided to challenge political correctness and use, well, facts.

Prosaically titled “Social and Economic Outcomes of Second Generation Youth,” the four-page memo showed little regard for the political correctness typical of government correspondence. “Chinese and South Asians are the most likely to have university degrees or higher, and to be employed in high-skilled occupations,” observed the summary, which was prepared by departmental bureaucrats and released recently through access to information. Second-generation youth of Caribbean and Latin American origin don’t fare so well, the memo went on; they tend to obtain lower levels of education than native-born Canadian kids and wind up in less skilled jobs.

Of course, remember that even when something is scientifically proven, it’s racist. Thank you.

I wish more states did this

In an event that is likely to get the anti-capital punishment activists whining in a frenzy of sorts (no change, in other words,) Utah just took care of its 50th death penalty victim, Ronnie Lee Gardner. However, Ronnie’s case is different from most others. He chose to be executed by firing squad over lethal injection. Unfortunately, the state has since done away with that method of punishment. However, because he was sentenced in the 1980′s, his preference was grandfathered in. With 5 police officers happily volunteering to assist (hey, I would too!)

Leftist groups have already gotten up in arms about the firing squad execution, proclaiming how utterly horrific it is. Unfortunately, they neglect to mention how horrific the murders that this man committed were. Even more amusingly, they forget that he chose to be executed by firing squad.

Of course, the Associated Press decided to seek comment from the most trustworthy of sources on this case: the European Union, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Unitarian Church (the only denomination slightly lower on the food chain than the United Church.)

Oh, and in case you missed it, this execution was officially announced on Twitter. Awesome, I know.

Yes, you read that correctly

A German student “mooned” a group of Hell’s Angels and hurled a puppy at them before escaping on a stolen bulldozer, police have said.

Because a German student mooning bikers wasn’t a good enough story, apparently there had to be a projectile puppy and a run-a-way farm vehicle. But, of course, we can rely on police for their insights into the matter:

“What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hell’s Angels is currently unclear,” a police spokesman said.
