Ari Fine and Andrew Lawton focus on Obama — the Great Marxist Deceiver — and his turning his back on America. As well, a great chat with Arizona Senate Candidate J.D. Hayworth brings attention to America’s most liberal Senator, John McCain.
Note: the background is the Arizona flag (I had never seen it either.)

Im honestly stunned, i didnt think it was possible to find anyone crazier than Andrew, but Ari you are even stupider. How you guys can do a show about how much the White House hates America and Obama hates America and that Obama is trying to make America into Europe, blah blah blah, marxist communist, blah blah blah, until you guys realize that Rush Limbaugh is really not a great politcal strategist, just a fat idiotic racist windbag with a microphone, the Republicans are going to keep losing and losing and losing. Its a shame. Try listening to a rational person every once in a while instead of just firing them for writing stuff that makes sense.
For once we agree on something Darren: I’m stunned as well. You repeatedly attack me, which I don’t mind, with the same baseless ‘insult,’ and with a sense of hatred and rhetoric that you claim to be the very reason why you think I’m such an idiot.
(Thanks for listening, however!)
When have I EVER said that Rush Limbaugh is a political strategist? He’s a political analyst, and a political commentator — and I can’t recall a single instance in which he has made a political prediction that has NOT come to pass…perhaps you could share one? (I won’t hold my breath.)
Also, what do you think is the death of the Republican party exactly. Do you think that the GOP’s issue is the fact that some “fat idiotic racist windbag” has the attention of 1/15 people every day? After all, 20 million listeners means he’s definitely some nutbar on the fringe. Though, I suspect that in actual fact, it’s because your definition of conservatism is a tad different than the the views of those in the United States who live by the principles of liberty and independence.
Here’s a soft-ball for you, who’s your ideal president/presidential candidate?
Andrew, the point that Rush gets 1/15 listeners everyday is kind of the point. Conservative and Republican leaders are held hostage to him. Not to steal David Frum’s thunder, but when that yoyo runs his mouth off that a guy named Hussein is going to create a death panel for your grandmother, it ties the hands of elected representatives. How do you negotiate or make a deal with such a devil? Rush, Sarah, Glenn are completley killing the ability of republicans to get anything done. and before you give me the usual “well win in november” crap, if this health care deal is really as bad as you claim it is, how are you going to repeal it, swing 12 senate seats? Have Obama impeached? It was a crushing defeat and the charge was lead by Rush and Hannity and Beck and all the crazies. As for my 2012 candidate, Mitt romney or Tim Pawlenty wouldnt be bad.
So to combat the huge government take-over of Healthcare, you want to bring in a candidate (Romney) who made the disastrous overhaul of healthcare in his own state?
The point is, 40% of Americans consider themselves conservative, whereas only 26% consider themselves liberal. That dichotomy in and of itself should show that there’s a divide in America where the plurality of those with a clear ideology are conservatives. And whatever you may think about conservatism in Canada, conservatism in the United States is a way of life, and it’s not the David Frum style of doing things.
I don’t see the Republicans taking over the senate in 2010. It’s not possible mathematically given (a) who’s up for re-election; and, (b) the polling numbers in those states. However, taking back the House of Representatives will be a big step, especially when you consider that the Republicans will be proceeding with the promise to try and repeal healthcare. If the GOP is able to sweep the House of Representatives running on a platform of saying no to healthcare — as Scott Brown did in Massachusetts — even some of the centrist Democrats won’t be able to ignore that in the Senate.
lol Andrew your problem, and Rushs problem, and now the Republican leaderships problem, is now that benefits will start rolling out for the healthcare bill, what are you going to run on, raising drug costs for seniors? kicking 25 year olds off health insurance? allowing ins. companies to deny coverage for preexisting conditions? You cant run on death panels anymore because no one will have the government pulling the plug on granny because that was a figment of the Palin imagination. Im sure that although most democrats are now nervous about the health reform debate, and i really hate to qoute Robert Gibbs, but i have no doubt the white house would be happy to run on healthcare reform. Once the benefits roll out, its very hard to campaign against. And your right about the culture of conservatism in the US. I just never realized that culture consisted of calling black a congressmen a “nigger” or a gay congressman a “faggot”. That isnt the conservative culture in Canada, despite what you might wish for (re: Maple Tea Party) and thank god it isnt
I’ve never called anyone a “nigger” in my life. And find me one member of the actual Republican Party who has done so. You will have fringe lunatics in any group, like the leftist who bombed the IRS office in Texas for example.
your so called liberal senator just received an award for being the THIRD MOST FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE MEMBER IN SENATE… NOT SO SHABBY! I WISH MORE SENATORS WERE LIKE MCCAIN, BETTER YET, THE PRESIDENT!
Washington will feel the fallout come end of the year…Republicans will come out on top. The majority of people in this Nation want a government that works for all people, not a tiny majority of people. McCain will keep fighting, just as he always has, for all people.
For the most part I’ve tried to refrain from engaging in fruitless back-and-forths but one comment here caught my attention:
“lol Andrew your problem, and Rushs problem, and now the Republican leaderships problem, is now that benefits will start rolling out for the healthcare bill, what are you going to run on, raising drug costs for seniors? kicking 25 year olds off health insurance? allowing ins. companies to deny coverage for preexisting conditions?”
Here is the problem with health care deform: http://www.usdebtclock.org/
You see Darren “the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money” – that time is quickly approaching.
“your so called liberal senator just received an award for being the THIRD MOST FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE MEMBER IN SENATE… NOT SO SHABBY! I WISH MORE SENATORS WERE LIKE MCCAIN, BETTER YET, THE PRESIDENT!”
Chris, his winning receiving that title from the National Taxpayers Union IS the problem. If you look at his history of scoring with that exact organization, you’ll see that the ONLY years when he actually scores high are those years where he is about to run for something. He generally scores 60′s and 70′s the other year, compared to an average of mid-high 80′s for other moderate Republicans. If it were a lifetime achievement award you may have a point, however it’s just another flop a year before he needs the conservative base to vote for him.
Americans need John McCain returned to the Senate to continue fighting alongside other Sen Coburn and others to protect our Freedoms. The only chance we have at a strong fight against this left administration is to have McCain remain in Washington fighting against the mounting deficit
Ari, I fully well understand that things that cost money increase the debt. Im just saying as a practical matter its tough to run on taking health insurance away from people, uncovering kids who were now covered because of preexisting conditions, and running on repealing that because of a debt clock is going to be a tough thing to do, especially becaue actually repealling the thing will be actually impossible. Your problem is that the crazies went all in on this, they were going to break the president, his waterloo, blah blah blah. Except when all the polls show health reform is unpopular, thats due in part to idiots like Sarah and Rush screaming that theyre going to kill your grandparents. But thats not going to happen. Once people relaize thats not happening, and no government buerocrat is counselling seniors to commit suicide, and there are no death panels, all the things the average person was fairly wary about will be appeased. You will still have the crazies who scream “nigger” and “faggot” at congresspeople they dont agree with, but you will lose the vast majority of the current oppostion because its not based on debt, its based on the idiotic insane overblown rhetoric used to try and block the bill.
