Obama represents weakness. He panders to the likes of Ahmadinijad and Chavez and throws allies like Israel, Columbia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Great Brittain under the bus. Well, actions have consequences. Just like Jimmy Carter’s weakness inspired the likes of Ayatollah Khomeini and his band of terrorists to seize control of Iran and keep American hostages for 444 days, Obama’s weakness is emboldening America’s enemies.
In case you haven’t seen it elsewhere, what could be the most important story in a long, long time:
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) – Military officials say a South Korean navy ship has sunk off an island not far from North Korea.
An official with the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Seoul said early Saturday that the ship sank some four hours after it began taking on water. The official spoke on condition of anonymity, in line with department policy.
The official said at least 58 of the 104 crew members have been rescued. There was no immediate confirmation of casualties. A rescue operation was still under way. …
South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported an explosion in the rear of the 1,200-ton ship and said the military had not ruled out the possibility of an attack by North Korea. However, the military official said the exact cause was not immediately clear and said he could not confirm the Yonhap report.
If in fact North Korea did launch this attack it is a direct result of Obama’s weakness. Quite simply, this would not have happened if the grownups were still in charge. This could be a 1979 moment – will America side with her ally, or spurn South Korea, as Carter disastrously did with the Shah in 1979. Unfortunately, I think I know the answer.

The fact that you’ve started your misguided post with a quote from a proven incompetent and discredited former military official in the Bush administration, Donald Rumsfeld, pretty well says it all.
It’s no secret that the well-respected retired General Colin Powell, who saw plenty of military action overseas, rightly regarded Rumsfeld as a two-bit armchair quarterback and poseur.
Regarding the silly statement that Obama is a weak president, he’s the only president in more than 100 years to actually stickhandle major health-care reform through Congress.
Sadly, your rigid, near-jerk ideological reactions and addictions clinging to only one point of view are preventing you from making honest evaluations and seeking the truth.
This is exactly what dooms hard-core ideologues of every stripe to minor roles in the annals of history.

So Obama’s ability to ram through a bill 60% of the American people don’t want, with enormous majorities in both houses of Congress proves he isn’t weak on foreign policy? How could I have missed that? Thanks for clearing things up!

The Rumsfeld quote is entirely appropiate.
And in fact, the sentiment he fears the Jihadis hold is in fact the sentiment the Jihadis hold.
The Jihadis (both the independent Sunni ones, and the State-controlled Shia ones) have concluded the West is exhausted and finished. They see you Leftists pukes and how you utter rip the society apart when confronted with war.
They’re relying on you to tear us up , destroy our resolve, keep us complacent and decadent.
The Jihadis know they do not have the numbers or firepower to defeat us in a straight up fight.. so instead they will use paths and methods that work towards destroying the national will.
They require the assistance of the Left..and the Left gives it freely.
