For once in my life, I’m actually going to give Quebec credit for something! A Muslim girl enrolled in a “transition” class at a CEGEP school in Montreal to help her in the big move from Egypt to Canada. In her class, an executive decision was made to have her remove her Niqab (a Burqa without the screens over the eyes) so that she could participate in the class as all the other students were forced to. After much back and forth between the student, the teacher, the school’s administration and the responsible Ministry in the Quebec government, she was expelled, even after refusing to study online. Given that the Qu’ran doesn’t require the wearing of a Niqab, one can only assume that she was (a) trying to be a pain in the ass; or, (b) trying to hide something. Either way, kudos to the government for showing her the door. Hopefully she won’t face an honor killing by an oppressive, vile Sharia-following father.
(And yes, it was only a matter of time before she decided to file a complaint with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. I’m sure that the Jennifer Lynch mob will have some fun as they destroy the life of the school’s principal.)
wow…ignorant jerks much?
Anyone who is that insistent on hiding their face is clearly a terrorist or a Muslim radical. It’s a cliche, but if you don’t want to show your face then stay in your own damn country…it’s not a tough concept.
Well said Yogi!
Funny how my kids have never mentioned being taught about the CHRC. It’s ridiculous to me that people don’t expose these lunatics for the useless pieces of shit they are (the commissions…and the Muslims too I suppose.
Our next door neighbors were a Muslim family for a year or so. There was always something fishy about them. I never understood why she wore a Burqa until I saw it was to cover all the bruises and scrapes from when her pig of a husband beat her and pushed her down the stairs. They’re all vile hell-bound losers.
Ann, you’re idiotic. You use “human rights violations” ONLY when they benefit YOU.
“Given that the Qu’ran doesn’t require the wearing of a Niqab, one can only assume that she was (a) trying to be a pain in the ass; or, (b) trying to hide something.”
…So – you’re saying that this Muslim did NOT have the right to wear a piece of cultural clothing? So…. she did NOT have that right. Yet, YOU complain about “suffering damages” from NOT being able to give a speech at the U of Ottawa. So when “human rights to the freedom of speech” benefit you, you cry out. Yet, when “human rights to wear cultural clothing” does NOT affect you, you dismiss it.
Let me tell you a thing about Canada, honey. We’re called a CULTURAL MOSAIC. There is no Canadian who is the same. And to all of the comments above – you need to grow up. Please. Because one Muslim was “beaten” (could have been from elsewhere) does not mean that all Muslims do this. I know a white man that beat his wife… ALL WHITE MEN DO THIS!!
And because someone wears something to cover their face does NOT mean that they are a terrorist.
Let’s settle down and actually reflect on what garbage we’re reading here. Anyone with brain cells would be able to recognize the idiocracy of Ann’s posting.
