Hannity's "Conservative Victory" a necessity for conservatives

I have to get my bias out of the way first: I love Sean Hannity. When I heard that Hannity was coming out with a new book, I was quite excited; it’s been too long. Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda is a breath of fresh air, especially at a point in America where the last six months have been ravaged by radical socialism and backroom dealings in Washington (see Healthcare, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Reconciliation and Entire Democratic Party.)

While books that criticize Obama are commonplace now with authors such as David Freddoso, Jerome Corsi, and Brad O’Leary, Hannity manages to still producing a fresh, ground-breaking analysis of the man at the helm of America, President Barack Hussein Obama. After over a year of nothing but mistakes coming from the White House, the mainstream media is still incapable of reporting the actual startling facts about Obama, ranging from his history of radicalism, his administration of radicals, and his radical ideology that has already pushed forth the biggest government take-over in America’s history.

The first chapter of Conservative Victory is a deep analysis of Obama’s relationship with America’s favorite reverend, Jeremiah Wright. Hannity takes the reader even further, however, probing into relationships of question in Obama’s past, some even unknown to me prior to reading his book. From Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers to David Axelrod and Kevin Jennings, the shocking past of many of Obama’s appointees are finally getting the coverage they deserve.

Conservative Victory is not just an attack on Barack Obama. Instead, it’s a comprehensive tool, a guidebook even, for conservative activism. Obama is the greatest example in America’s history on why conservatism is not only ideal, but necessary. Hannity uses the president as a launching pad for the lessons that conservatives need to learn to allow the conservative movement to succeed. A big part of the success of conservatism is ensuring that the Republican Party actually has conservative candidates, not RINOs (see John McCain.) Despite what some of the Republican leadership may say, Republicans have lost their way, and Sean Hannity explains this not in a defeatist manner, but in a way that inspires all conservatives to affect change in the GOP,  not cast it aside as a lost cause. Hannity asserts the reality that nothing good can come from a third party.

On The Sean Hannity Show, it’s not uncommon to hear claims that when put to the test, conservatism will always win. These are unequivocally true. Hannity doesn’t leave readers depressed about the sad state of America; in the last chapter he gives an unmitigated list of what conservatives need to remember in moving forward. From national security to personal liberty, the values that conservatives hold — that the average American holds — are the values that we as conservatives need to remember in moving forward.

Conservative Victory is unapologetically conservative; it’s an honest and true account of the values that Obama is destroying America with, and how conservatives can overcome it. Any one who wants America to succeed needs this book.

Sean Hannity’s Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda can be purchased from Amazon here for only $8.00.

Update: Sarah Palin, Toby Keith, Jack Welch and…LL Cool J?

No, you didn’t misread that headline. Mediate reports that Sarah Palin’s FOX News show, Real American Stories, will debut this Thursday April 1st at 10pm with guests Toby Keith, Jack Welch and yes, LL Cool J.

After doing some background research, it would appear as though LL Cool J is a real patriot.

From Cubachi:

What many people do not know about LL Cool J is how pro-American his family is.

“My family is very pro-American,” he says. “My grandfather used to sit me in his lap, and we would watch all of the old World War II shows that used to come on, back in the day. I’m totally on it, totally into it, and I love it. My grandfather, even after we said grace, he would say, ‘Chow!’

His thoughts on the military:

“… ultimately these are some of the people who have to protect our freedom and protect democracy.”

He also talks about his favorite founding father, Ben Franklin:

“You know what,” he says, “that’s a good question, interesting question.

My favorite Founding Father .. wow. Benjamin Franklin was brilliant. I think I will go with Benjamin Franklin first. I would go with Jefferson and then Adams, but I would go with Franklin.

“When he talked about wealth … his ‘Poor Richard’s Almanack’ was amazing. Him being a scientist; him being an author; him being a businessman; him being an entrepreneur; him being a guy who understood how important it was to be conservative when it came to a dollar, and conserve your wealth.

And it doesn’t stop there. In an interview LL Cool JJ (can I just call him “Cool J” or is it Mr. Cool J?) did on the set of his television show “NCIS: Los Angeles” he came out as a God fearing American patriot who loves the troops, families and the free-market. I highly recommend you read the entire interview.

Looks like LL Cool J ought to be added to the (very short) list of acceptable celebrities.

UPDATE: Turns out when something is too good to be true it isn’t true. Reader Winston brought this story to my attention – the gist is that LL Cool J is just another loser.

Judas Stupak's 30 Pieces Of Silver

In what is most assuredly a coincidence, the 11 Democrats led by Bart Stupak that claimed to be pro-life but still voted for Obamacare, which will fund abortions with tax payer dollars, have requested $3.4 billion in earmarks. Not to worry though, Stupak’s office assured disgusted citizens that “The congressman’s vote for health care has no connection to annual appropriations requests.” That’s right, just move along, nothing to see here. This is a glaring example of the way things work in Washington. These 11 Lapdog Democrats are spineless. Their votes were bought and paid for. In any other circumstance this would be called what it is – bribery. But not in Congress. In Congress this is business as usual. At least when people are bribed by private citizens the briber isn’t using your money!

Here is rap sheet naming the 11 Congressmen and the price for their vote:

Rep. Jerry Costello of Illinois.: $1,418.7 million ($256.4 million in 2010)

Rep. Solomon Ortiz of Texas: $618 million ($726.1 million in 2010)

Stupak of Michigan: $578.9 million

Rep. Steve Driehaus of Ohio: $332.2 million

Rep. Marcy Kaptur of Ohio: $294 million ($305.7 million in 2010)

Rep. Kathy Dahlkemper of Pennsylvania: $236.8 million ($54 million in 2010)

Rep. James Oberstar of Minnesota.: $207 million ($226 million in 2010)

Rep. Brad Ellsworth of Indiana.: $115.4 million ($82.3 million in 2010)

Rep. Charles Wilson of Ohio: $84 million ($62.3 million in 2010)

Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania.: $67.1 million

Rep. Joseph Donnelly of Indiana: $19.8 million ($11.65 million in 2010)

Global Warming Truth

From Hot Air:

Humans are too stupid to prevent climate change from radically impacting on our lives over the coming decades. This is the stark conclusion of James Lovelock, the globally respected environmental thinker and independent scientist who developed the Gaia theory.

It follows a tumultuous few months in which public opinion on efforts to tackle climate change has been undermined by events such as the climate scientists’ emails leaked from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and the failure of the Copenhagen climate summit.

I don’t think we’re yet evolved to the point where we’re clever enough to handle a complex a situation as climate change,” said Lovelock in his first in-depth interview since the theft of the UEA emails last November. “The inertia of humans is so huge that you can’t really do anything meaningful.”

One of the main obstructions to meaningful action is “modern democracy”, he added. “Even the best democracies agree that when a major war approaches, democracy must be put on hold for the time being. I have a feeling that climate change may be an issue as severe as a war. It may be necessary to put democracy on hold for a while.

And there you have it folks. After the health care abomonation passed last week I posted an article in which I provided video and audio of Democrats explaining that the purpose of passing Obamacare was to increase government control over the American people. The hoax of global warming is just another piece in the statist agenda. ‘Global warming’ is being perpetuated by a bunch of anti-American Luddites that want to cut the West down to size. The comments of this ‘scientist’  also serve as a wonderful example of what leftist elites think of regular people – you’re just too stupid to know what’s good for you. George Will had it right when he said “the core of today’s liberalism [is that] the American people are such dopes they can’t be counted upon to buy their own insurance.”

The Real Anti-Americans

In today’s Human Events Pat Buchanan has a great article on the Left’s lies about the Tea Party:

As Democrats, after a Sunday rally on the Capitol grounds, marched to the House hand-in-hand to vote health care reform, Tea Partiers reportedly shouted the “n-word” at John Lewis and another black congressman. A third was allegedly spat upon. And Barney Frank was called a nasty name.

Tea Partiers deny it all. And neither audio nor video of this alleged incident has been produced, though TV cameras and voice recorders were everywhere on the Hill.

Other Democrats say their offices were vandalized and they’ve been threatened. A few received, and eagerly played for cable TV, obscene phone calls they got.

If true, this is crude and inexcusable behavior. And any threat should be investigated. But Democrats are also exploiting these real, imaginary or hoked-up slurs to portray themselves as political martyrs and to smear opponents as racists and bigots.

This is the politics of desperation.

Majority Whip James Clyburn accuses Republicans of “aiding and abetting … terrorism.” New York Times columnist Frank Rich compared the Tea Party treatment of Democrats to Nazi treatment of the Jews during Kristallnacht:

“How curious that a mob fond of likening President Obama to Hitler knows so little about history that it doesn’t recognize its own small-scale mimicry of Kristallnacht.”

Kristallnacht, “Crystal Night,” the “Night of Broken Glass,” was the worst pogrom in Germany since the Middle Ages. Synagogues were torched and hundreds of businesses smashed. Shattered glass covered the streets. Women were assaulted and men beaten and murdered. After that terrible night, half the Jews remaining in Germany fled.

To compare a brick tossed through the window of a congressional office and two shouted slurs to Kristallnacht suggests a growing paranoia on the left about the populist right.

Students Uncover Racist Pastime!

It’s about time. Students at Queens University in Canada have uncovered the truth about sumo suits:

Sumo suits are instruments of ‘racism and oppression’.

Brandon Sloan, the communications officer for the Alma Mater Society, stated the obvious: white privilege had blinded the student government.

Even better, in a report published by the Canadian Federation of Students (communist student union), a student intellectual reported that white privilege permeates the ’walls, books, classrooms and everything that makes Queen’s what it is.”

What idiots. The sumo suit has existed as an attraction at events for years. Yet these oversensitive liberals are insisting on banning these suits because they now deem them ‘oppressive’.

But there’s more.

Just last year Queen’s came up with a solution to prevent troublesome free speech: a speech police program.

The speech police consisted of a group of moral superiors who would walk through public areas and listen for unpopular/conservative speech. Upon identifying unpopular speech, they would work tirelessly to purge it from the school.

It looks like stupidity is a chronic condition at Queen’s.

Queen’s was forced to cancel the program after the school received national criticism for attacking free speech. Now they’re at it again by banning sumo suits.

With all of this, are you surprised Ann Coulter was forced to cancel her appearance at the University of Ottawa? The conclusion is obvious: free speech no longer exists in Canada.

In other news, Queen’s closed the nomination process for its ‘Anti-Oppression Award’ on Monday. I nominate the idiot that first revealed how oppressive sumo suits are.

You can read the official statement explaining the racist nature of sumo suits here.

Fox News Sunday Rubio v. Crist

The Republican Senate primary battle in Florida is really a referendum on the direction the GOP wants to chart for the future. This weekend’s FOX News Sunday debate made it clear who the real conservative, ideas oriented candidate is for the GOP – Marco Rubio. Rubio defines himself as a “Jim DeMint” Republican, or a conservative. Rubio will fight the Obama-Reid-Pelosi scoilast, freedom killing agenda. Charlie Crist has a brutal fake tan, was a lousy governor and said that the two senators he admired most are John McCain and Lindsey Graham. That’s amnesty, cap and trade, and bailouts – case closed. Crist did not present a single new idea in the debate, and has not throughout the campaign. Instead, Crist is content to make false allegations against Rubio in an attempt to besmirch Rubio’s character. For Floridians the choice is clear: Marco Rubio represents the future of the Republican Party.

In Defense of Sarah Palin

A must-read article from today’s Wall Street Journal:

In Defense of Sarah Palin

by Norman Podhoretz

Nothing annoys certain of my fellow conservative intellectuals more than when I remind them, as on occasion I mischievously do, that the derogatory things they say about Sarah Palin are uncannily similar to what many of their forebears once said about Ronald Reagan.

It’s hard to imagine now, but 31 years ago, when I first announced that I was supporting Reagan in his bid for the 1980 Republican presidential nomination, I was routinely asked by friends on the right how I could possibly associate myself with this “airhead,” this B movie star, who was not only stupid but incompetent. They readily acknowledged that his political views were on the whole close to ours, but the embarrassing primitivism with which he expressed them only served, they said, to undermine their credibility. In any case, his base was so narrow that he had no chance of rescuing us from the disastrous administration of Jimmy Carter.

It's about time…

From HotAir.com:

Barack Obama talks a lot about the “spirit of bipartisanship.”  Now he’s had a chance to see it for himself, thanks to a series of diplomatic fumbles between the White House and Israel, usually one of America’s closest allies.  More than three-quarters of the US House of Representatives signed a letter expressing dismay over the direction of the alliance.

The contents of the letter shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of our readers who have read Ari and I (predominantly Ari) bash Obama on relations with Israel repeatedly since his coronation inauguration. A whopping 327 congressmen and congresswomen signed this letter, recognizing that Obama needs to stop penalizing the allies of the United States to suck up to its enemies:

We are concerned that the highly publicized tensions in the relationship will not advance the interests the US and Israel share. Above all, we must remain focused on the threat posed by the Iranian nuclear weapons program to Middle East peace and stability.

[...]

We recognize that despite the extraordinary closeness between our country and Israel there will be differences over issues both large and small. Our view is that such differences are best resolved quietly, in trust and confidence, as befits longstanding strategic allies. We hope and expect that, with mutual effort and good faith, the United States and Israel will move beyond this disruption quickly, to the lasting benefit of both nations.
